The OITC Group has a professionally managed Finance & Admin Department, which controls the entire financial operations and assist in the general management of the Group. It provides the appropriate type of financial base for the Organization, allocates resources to the best possible use, keeps abreast of financial and economic changes and conditions, and interacts to internal and external requests, actions and forces. The Department enforces control over the activities of the Group’s Divisions and companies, keeping in view the basic plan and objectives for the business. It helps them to plan, regulate and control expenditure and measure performance of the profit centers. The Group’s investments in real estates, stocks/shares are managed by the Finance & Admin Department, which closely monitors the economic and market conditions and advices the Management/Board on investment policies. Moreover, the department acts as the nerve center of the Organization as the central control system operates through this department. It manages the corporate office, formulates rules and enforces discipline. Each company/division of OITC Group is a separate profit center. They enjoy operational freedom within their domains of specified activities. However, the Group has its corporate aims and objectives. The Finance & Admin Department ensures that the Divisions function within their prescribed limits and enforces administrative control to implement the Group’s general policies over them. OITC receives a large number of overseas guests and customers, who visit Qatar for business development, site visits, negotiations etc.. Administration provides all local assistance to foreign suppliers and contractors, arranges visa, transportation and accommodation, whenever required by them. All public relation activities are handled by the Administration |
